Women's Teams from eligible NBOs compete in a round-robin qualification, followed by semi-finals and finals. Matches are scored using IMPs converted to Victory Points, with knockout rounds based on IMP scoring. Up to 16 teams participate, with eligibility and tie-breaking rules as per SCoC.

Detailed format, eligibility, and competition structure for the Women's Teams event at the Asia Cup Bridge Championship.

Eligibility

  • Each eligible NBO may enter one team/pair per category
  • Host NBO (India) may enter additional teams/pairs as permitted
  • The remaining slots will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis subject to maximum participation to 16 teams.
  • All players must be duly registered through their NBO

Competition Format

  • Stage 1 Round-robin qualification all play all
  • Stage 2 Semi-finals between top 4 teams
  • Stage 3 Finals & Play-offs

Match Structure

  • Matches played over multiple boards
  • Scoring based on IMP converted Victory Points in swiss league
  • Knockout matches played over IMP scoring
